“Barista” company, a distributor of coffee and tea, has officially entered the Armenian market. This event as well as the beginning of cooperation between Batista and Urban Logistic Services (ULS) has been recently celebrated on the territory of ULS complex.
Batista Ltd. is an official distributor of ‘Pauling’ company, the world famous producer of natural coffee. In cooperation with the 3PL operator ULS, not only will Barista benefit from using the complex of logistic and storage services, but will also rent office premises on the territory of ULS, which is a vital condition for the company’s entry into the local market.
In return, commenting on the new partnership, the Executive Director of ULS, Rob den Otter, said the following, “We are honored and happy that Barista have chosen Urban Logistic Services as its main partners in its new business. And we believe that we can support them to their fullest satisfaction with all their logistic needs, allowing them to concentrate 100% of their time on their core business. And this way we hope we can be a main support in their overall business success”.
In the near future Batista is planning the product-line expansion and import increase. At the moment the company is engaged in negotiation with several popular producers on the topic of new contracts conclusion, as the capacities and logistic services of its partner – 3PL operator ULS- give big opportunities for the company’s successful business expansion.
The logistic center with an overall area of about 7ha includes: the central warehouse designed for 45.000 pallet places; warehouses rent (around 15) with a total area of 5000m², 9 cold chambers with the total capacity of 4.500 m³, and office space of 1200m². At moment ULS is cooperating with more than 100 Armenian and foreign companies providing the services of cross docking (consolidated goods), storage, good receiving and shipping, labeling and goods delivery, etc.
